Day 4 August 8, 2010 Almost Golden Reunion

Yes, classmates, there is a Father Carlos. We attended mass at St. Anne's where he is a deacon. After mass, we had lunch at Ka-Linda's where we feasted on yummy Filipino food. Rory brought from home sago drink and even gave instructions on how to cook it properly. We held a business meeting to discuss the golden reunion. Enteng handed out copies of the schedule of activities at Subic. The overseas chapter will be in charge of the program on the opening night. We will be entertaining suggestions for program numbers. The deadline for reservations and payment of $100 deposit is September 15th. Nina J has agreed to remit our deposits to Manila.

Sadly, the reunion had to end. We said our goodbyes and headed home. Our hosts Marie, Kaloi, Jess, Emma, Liza Sol and Evelyn C did a wonderful job of organizing all the events and made us feel special. Maraming salamat! See you next year at our golden reunion!

Day 2 August 6, 2010 Almost Golden Reunion

Early start at 8:00 am. Hotel shuttle took us to the Bart Station at Union City for a ride to the Powell station where we took the cable car to Fisherman's Wharf. Shopping right away for jackets and scarves for some of us because it was chilly. Lunch at Pier 39 where we slurped down clam chowder. Tour of San Francisco on a motorized cable car including Golden Gate Bridge, Presidio and Chinatown. Dinner and more shopping at Chinatown. Burned calories by walking to the Bart station for our ride back to the hotel.
